TL;DR
📄 Your resume
When you upload a resume or paste your profile, the text is extracted and sent to the Gemini AI API (by Google) to generate your report. We also store that text in our database so that your report can be improved automatically when we release better AI, and so you can re-run the analysis with one click if you update your resume.
For image uploads (JPG, PNG), the file is sent directly to Gemini's vision model for analysis; we don't store the original image file — only the generated report.
Your resume content is never shared publicly. The generated report is accessible only to people who have your report link.

🗑️ Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your resume and report at any time at reworkwithai.com/data. Enter your report link and optionally your email address. We process requests manually within a few days. Your report link will continue to work until the request is processed.
Deletion removes your resume content, your report, and all associated analytics events from our database. Your uploaded file (if any) is already auto-deleted after 24 hours.
🤖 AI processing (Gemini by Google)
We use Google's Gemini API to analyze your resume and generate your report. Your resume text is sent to Google's servers for this purpose. Google's API usage policies apply — by default, Google does not train on API inputs. Review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
📬 Email (optional)
If you choose to leave your email address, we'll notify you when your report is improved by a new version of our AI. We send at most one email per week per report. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email, or by submitting a deletion request at reworkwithai.com/data.
We don't send marketing emails, ads, or newsletters. Every email we send is directly about your report.
📈 Analytics
We log basic usage events (report viewed, analysis submitted) to understand how the app is being used. These events include a one-way hashed version of your IP address — not the IP itself. We also log your browser's User-Agent string and referring URL. No cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics.
🍪 Cookies
We don't use cookies. No tracking, no sessions, no ads.
🔄 Changes to this policy
If we make changes to how data is handled, this page will be updated. If you've opted in to report notifications, we'll include a heads-up in a future email. Otherwise check back if you're curious. Significant changes (like new third-party data sharing) will be noted with a date.
